How secure is AbsoluteDomains' payment system?

When you place an order with AbsoluteDomains you can be confident that your payment details are being handled with the upmost security. Firstly, you are transferred to a secure environment where you can safely submit your credit/debit card details (this is indicated by a padlock symbol in the status bar at the bottom of your browser to indicate that you are on a secure server). Our payment system uses 128bit encryption, which provides high level security to all transactions from our website. Secondly, to protect our customers further, AbsoluteDomains does not hold any record of your credit/debit card details. This order/payment system ensures maximum security and provides our customers with complete peace of mind.

Which browsers are compatible with AbsoluteDomains' payment system?

Our payment system will take you to a secure environment before asking you to enter your credit/debit card details. This procedure uses a security certificate issued by Thawte, who have been a known issuer of security certificates for Netscape and Internet Explorer for several years. However, some older browsers will not recognise the Thawte certificate and therefore will not work with our payment system (it is possible to see which root security certificates are installed with the browser in the security options of the browser).

You can use any modern browser with our payment system, including:

Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 4 or higher
Netscape Version 4 or higher
Any other browser with the Thawte certificate installed.

If you are using an old browser that is not compatible with our system, you should update your browser, as you will encounter problems on many websites. You can download (free of charge) the latest versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape from the Microsoft and Netscape sites respectively.
